Young people often get the blame when bad things happen but its our experience that many kids take a very keen interest in their community and we believe that if given the means and opportunity they can excel and really make things happen for the best. Crimeshare is keen to encourage students and young people to get involved whether it be maintaining the website, writing pieces for publication, producing video for streaming or even getting involved in the management steering of the project. Students' involvement would normally be via their school, college or university ICT or Media studies and form part of a wider school involvement supervised by the head of department at the school. Students would be given great freedom in the level and scope of involvement and would be encouraged to work towards a completed project within a specific area which could then be included in their CV when leaving school and looking to further their education or find work in a related industry.
Works in your neighbourhood If you or your school / college or university would like to get involved please do drop us a line or why not go ahead and make a short film or write an article about the issues that matter to you and send it in. We would also love to hear about any projects you're already active in, we could perhaps help publicise them or add our input to maximise the benefits.
OK, So you’re wondering how you can get involved. How about a short film? We’re looking for film makers – amateur or pro, to make a contribution. If you’ve got a camera and an idea, there’s nothing to stop you. Obviously we’re looking for crime issues, other than that, the world is your oyster as the saying goes. It can be an interview, a rant, a reconstruction…… get your minds working on it, you’re bound to come up with more ideas than us! We will put your work on this site with a full list of credits and a link to your webpage if you have one. Advantage to us? A wide range of ideas and viewpoints. Advantage to you? A chance to get something off your chest and a place to showcase your work. Anyone can get involved. Adults, kids, schools, uni’s, all are more than welcome. Please send your footage to submissions@crimesharetv.com If you have any queries, questions or just want to run your ideas past us first email editor@crimesharetv.com. Get filming!
